 Featuring special guest speakers:

  • Michel DeWolf – The LiveIP’s project leader
  • Michel Beland – Senior Manager, CBC/SRC Media and Enterprise Technology Services

In the past 12 months, the road to IP-based production has been cleared with the emergence of agreed standards under the AIMS alliance and projects like the VRT Sandbox’s LiveIP – both of which Nevion has been actively involved.

Nevion’s exclusive NAB Show New York event examines the progress made in the move to IP and to virtualization and provides you with a preview of Nevion’s new broadcast workflow management module in VideoIPath.

The NAB New York event will feature two special guest speakers who will share case studies of using IP technology as part of live production:

  • IP Studio Case Study: Michel De Wolf, the VRT-EBU LiveIP’s project leader, will share the Belgium national broadcaster VRT’s experience of using the all-IP infrastructure for Euro2016 and Olympics-themed live productions on Ketnet.
  • IP remote production Case Study: Michel Beland, Senior Manager of NGCN System Design and Development, Telecommunications at Canadian Broadcasting Corporation/SRC Media and Enterprise Technology Services, will talk about architecting an IP-based network to support remote production of the 2016 Summer Games.
