Pre-NAB 2019

First speaker for Nevion’s pre-NAB event announced!

Nevion’s annual pre-NAB event featuring special guest speakers, on Sunday 7 April, at 2pm at the Las Vegas Hard Rock Café restaurant on The Strip.

As the industry moves towards IP in media production, every broadcaster and service provider inevitably wants to implement the best solutions for their business now and the future, and make the transition smooth, incremental and cost effective.

We would like to invite you to our exclusive event, where you can hear about the latest thinking and developments in IP-based production. Find out in particular how IP is blurring the distinction between facilities (including studios) and contribution, thanks to a consistent network architecture and management; also discover our vision for the future of live broadcast – virtualized media production.

Be there!

The focus of the event are case studies, presented by people with first hand experience of the projects. The first featured case study and speaker have now been announced:

Building the infrastructure to enable the live remote production of a national ice-hockey league, presented by Antti Laurila, Broadcast Solutions
Learn how technology has enabled production company StreamTeam to produce up to seven live games simultaneously, in HD and 4K, from a central location hundreds of miles away, and find out how the solution can apply to any live sports production, big or small.

Why should you attend?

The Nevion NAB pre-event brings together broadcasters, service providers, and Nevion partners in an informal setting, to share information, knowledge, and experiences. The format of the event is a presentation session of around 90 minutes, followed by finger food and drinks. The focus of the presentation session is case studies presented by broadcasters, service providers and other media organizations.
