The event
At this short afternoon event, taking place prior to the opening of CABSAT, and featuring a special guest speaker from VRT’s LiveIP sandbox project, we will cover:
- The new virtualized media production architecture – adapting IP, IT, SDN technology used in other areas of the business to enable organizations to produce more content in real-time
- Uncovering the Cloud of Real-Time – the next generation of live production infrastructure ensuring a seamless management, transport and processing of media across outside locations, contribution and studio infrastructure
- Moving from baseband to IP in production – leveraging existing baseband in-studio, remote production and contribution as part of the transition to IP
- Case study with Guest Speaker – a guest speaker will present the latest on the VRT Sandbox LiveIP project which is developing an all IP broadcast production environment.
The session will close with an informal 20 year ‘birthday party’ to mark our two decades of success in the industry.
