Pioneers of IP in the facilities
In 2015, Nevion created the first fully standards-based multi-vendor IP studio network for the seminal VRT-EBU LiveIP project. And in 2017, Nevion delivered the world’s first, multi-site IP production facility network for TV 2, and early example of Nevion’s vision of a virtualized live production.
Shaping standards
Nevion is a founding member of AIMS (The Alliance for IP Media Solutions) and was involved in defining the SMPTE 2110 standard for essence-based transport in the facilities.

Simple hand-over to other IP networks: any router in the network can forward the packets to any other connected network, even if the latter is not SDN based.
