Nevion IP Starter Kit
Launched just over a year ago, the Nevion IP Starter Kit is a pre-configured, fully functional, and lightweight HD/3G IP media network with SDN control – entirely based on industry standards. The Nevion IP Starter Kit is especially designed for broadcasters that are considering a move from SDI to IP and are looking for hands-on experience with IP technology.
Since the launch, the Nevion IP Starter Kit has been enhanced with pre-defined modes, to make it even easier to use: adaption mode, encoder/decoder mode, and audio processing mode.
A Nevion IP Starter Kit will be on display on the IBC booth, providing the opportunity to see for yourself this great tool to learn about SMPTE ST 2110, NMOS, software defined networking (SDN) and much more.

Nevion on other booths
TAG Video System – 1.C15
Earlier this year, Nevion entered into a partnership with TAG Video Systems that allows us to offer solutions with multi-viewer capabilities. TAG is the market-leader when it comes to COTS based multi-viewers, which offers much more flexibility to handle different formats than traditional hardware based multi-viewers. The TAG multi-viewer solution can efficiently handle a mix of uncompressed (ST2110) and compressed streams, and can be used throughout the entire broadcast chain from MCR to production and playout.
Nevion is present on the TAG booth (booth 1.C15) with a demonstration of our integration between VideoIPath and the TAG multi-viewer solution. In addition, TAG multi-viewers are embedded in VideoIPath and Virtuoso demonstrations at the Sony booth.
