CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Geir Bryn-Jensen brings over 20 years’ experience in international business development and sales within the telecom, broadcast and IT industries. Before joining Nevion in 2010 as executive vice president of sales, he spent six years as managing director/country manager at CA Norway AS (Computer Associates). Prior to this, he was a manager at Accenture’s Media & Entertainment practice in Norway, following six years at Telenor in various business development roles. Geir has an MBA in Strategic Management from the Norwegian School of Business Administration (NHH) in Bergen and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Engineering from the University of Kent.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Silje Gabrielsen joined Nevion in 2015 as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to this, Silje was CFO at Ventelo, a telcom company in the Nordics. Silje holds a Master, Economics, Management Control from the Bodø Graduate School of Business, and an MBA (Strategic Management) from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH).
CHIEF PRODUCT AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Johnny Dolvik, one of the digital TV industry’s true pioneers, brings more than 20 years of experience from the broadcast equipment industry to Nevion. Johnny, CEO and co-founder of T-VIPS was instrumental in growing the company to a market leader in video transport over IP and digital terrestrial networks. Prior to his tenure at T-VIPS, he held several management positions at TANDBERG Television, including segment director broadband and head of development. Johnny holds a Siv.Ing degree from Norwegian NTH, the Norwegian Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Business Administration from NHH, the Norwegian School of Economics.
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Petter Kvaal Djupvik served as vice president for global operations at Eltek ASA before he was appointed COO of Network Electronics (now Nevion) in May 2007. Previously, he served as director of global supply at Power-One for five years. His background also includes experience at Lawson as a consultant manager, Norautron as QA- and MA-manager and as a change management consultant at Accenture. Petter holds a Master of Industrial Engineering & Management degree from the Norwegian University of Science & Technology (NTNU).
CHIEF COMMERCIAL OFFICER
Hans Hasselbach has been at Nevion in a Sales Management position for 13 years over. He has been instrumental in carefully building Nevion’s business partner community and also has been working in Asia for years fueling business success across the area. Prior to this senior role at Nevion he did hold sales management positions at Scientific Atlanta (now Cisco) and Alphatron Broadcast Electronics. Hans is working for 30 years in a business to business sales position. He holds a Dutch National Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from the Royal PBNA institution.
Nevion is a growing and profitable company. It is privately owned, with the main shareholders being Herkules Private Equity Fund II.
CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD
Mr Thuresson has more than 30 years of experience in international high-tech businesses, holding a number of high profile positions in technology and broadcast companies. For 12 years Mr Thuresson worked for the videoconferencing company Tandberg, including 5 years as CEO. Since 2002, he has served as private investor and chairman/board member at several technology companies. Mr Thuresson holds an MSc in Engineering Cybernetics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
Mr. Agerup is the Chief Executive Officer of Oslotech AS. Previously, he was a General Partner at Nortzone Ventures, which he co-founded in 1994. Mr. Agerup was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Co and has served as Chairman of the Board for a number of companies, including T-VIPS AS which was merged with Nevion in 2012. Mr. Agerup holds a BSc in Business Administration and Business economics/HA from the Copenhagen Business School and an MSc from MIT Sloan School.
Mr. Egeland is COO of Herkules Capital, with the overall responsibility of Herkules’ non-deal activities. Patrik has been with Herkules since 2004, where he has been responsible for recruitment and Herkules’ internal development program. As a deal professional, he has been involved in most of Herkules’ Industrial Technology and Services investments, including Nevion. Prior to joining Herkules Capital, Patrik worked almost five years with McKinsey & Company in Oslo, where he gained significant experience in running and managing strategy and turnaround processes and from M&A transactions. He has worked in a wide range of industry sectors, including consumer goods, telecommunications, oil & gas, metals, agriculture and airlines.
Patrik holds an MBA with distinction from INSEAD, and a Master of Science degree from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
Mr. Heinzer has more than 20 years of experience in international broadcast and telecom business. He co-founded Nevion (former Network Electronics) in 1996. Prior to Nevion he served in various managing positions at broadcast system integration and equipment manufacturing companies in Germany and Norway.
Since Nevion’s inception he has been a driving force in growing the company from a small broadcast equipment start-up to a global leader in the area of media transport and service management solutions. Mr. Heinzer has been instrumental in the company’s M&A activities and currently serves Nevion as Manager for Strategic Projects. He holds a Master’s Degree in Electronics and Data communication from the University of Hamburg.
