The Flashlink 3GHD-OE-2-SFP is a dual SFP based multi bit-rate optical to electrical converter module.
It provides high performance media conversion supporting 3G-, HD- and SD-SDI signal formats in addition to DVB-ASI, SMPTE310M and MADI. The modular design with the ability to quickly replace a whole unit with its optical modules attached makes the 3GHD-OE-2-SFP the first choice for mission critical applications.
The converter is utilizing SFP receivers that are pluggable devices, enabling easy exchange or upgrade of optical ports and minimizing spare stock. High quality SFP based optical PIN and APD receivers makes the product suitable for short and medium/ long haul applications. The standards compliance of Nevion Flashlink products also allows for easy inter-operability with third party fiber optical systems.
The units two optical converters has three electrical outputs each, which reduces the need for additional distribution amplifiers. The product also features an automatic change-over function between the two optical inputs.
