EM3-100G-32C is part of the eMerge series of high-capacity switches for broadcast applications, specifically designed to build software-defined media fabrics and provide advanced NAT capability.
The switch provides line-rate switching across the 32 QSFP28 ports and can be deployed as a spine switch supporting 100G interconnects or as a leaf switch supporting 10/25/40/100G media device interfaces.
The switch may be SDN controlled from Nevion’s VideoIPath control system. This includes flexible programming of NAT rules, which gives unprecedented control of media flows in the network. Normal switching is also possible in hybrid mode (e.g. data and control traffic).
