Universal media converter with 4 configurable optical ports

The UMC-EOOE-4-SFP is a quad optical converter supporting 3G/HD/SD and GbE with configurable optical ports that can take any direction depending on the SFPs used.

Intelligent SDI input switching based on signal integrity and full flexibility of input to output routing makes this product useful in any optical transport application, being in front of a transmission chain or at the receive end.

Full hot-swap functionality with all electronics including optics placed on the main board ensures minimum service breakage in the event of card swap.

The card brings higher density to modular conversion enabling up to 40 media conversion in 2RU.

Multicon Gyda provides SNMP support and web interface for monitoring and configuration of the unit, and with its on-board SDI probes this brings in-line monitoring of services running on the product.

24044 UMC-EOOE-4-SFP Quad channel universal media converter with 4 direction configurable SFP based optical ports supporting 3G/HD/SD/ASI and MADI with option for GbE. Card features on board cross-point for flexible connectivity. Can be upgraded with advanced change-over functionality. SNMP /WEB interfacing thru Multicon. Uses Nevions optical video SFPs. SFP not included.
24045 UMC-SW-ACO3x1 Software license to enable one automatic change-over allowing any 3 inputs. Up to 3 ACO licenses can be installed on a single module
24046 UMC-SW-ETH1000 Software license to enable GbE electrical/optical conversion. Optical video transceiver SFP must be installed in one of the SFP slots. SFP not included.

SFPs are not included and needs to be ordered separately.

Applicable SFPs to be used with this product are:

19144 SFP-3G-EO-2-13T Dual channel optical transmitter SFP supporting data rates up to 3Gbps including SD, HD and 3G-SDI. These devices are designed to be compatible to pathological video signals.
23033 SFP-3G-EO-2-C1xxx/C1xxx Dual channel optical CWDM transmitter SFP supporting 3G/HD/SD-SDI and ASI. They are available with all 18 CWDM wavelengths. These devices are designed to be compatible to pathological video signals.
19145 SFP-3G-OE-2 Dual channel optical receiver SFP supporting data rates up to 3Gbps including SD, HD and 3G-SDI. These devices are designed to be compatible to pathological video signals.
22180 SFP-3G-OE-2-L Dual channel optical long haul receiver SFP supporting data rates up to 3Gbps including SD, HD and 3G-SDI. These devices are designed to be compatible to pathological video signals.
22968 SFP-3G-EO-OE-13T-S Optical 13T short haul transceiver SFP supporting data rates up to 3Gbps including SD, HD and 3G-SDI. These devices are designed to be compatible to pathological video signals.
23036 SFP-3G-EO-OE-C1xxx-L Optical CWDM long haul transceiver SFP supporting 3G/HD/SD-SDI and ASI. They are available with all 18 CWDM wavelengths.  These devices are designed to be compatible to pathological video signals.
