The demos on the Sony booth show practical workflows spanning on-premises, COTS and cloud environments, with VideoIPath providing broadcast control, orchestration and monitoring across the solutions.

Dynamic Software Defined Broadcast:

See MOXELA, M2L-X and VideoIPath working together in flexible cloud and on-premises workflows, using MXL for efficient media exchange. The demo includes MOXELA SRT fan-out, monitoring and SRT-to-MXL conversion, alongside M2L-X Multi-ME production

Optimised Media Transport:

Discover contribution and remote-production workflows using Virtuoso JPEG XS and HEVC (including combined with SRT for unmanaged networks), with centralized control and monitoring through VideoIPath.

Cutting-edge Broadcast Control:

Experience VideoIPath Operate controlling real production environments, including virtual camera assignment, production reconfiguration, tally management, switcher control and intuitive control surfaces.

Interoperability demonstrations at IBC

EBU – AMWA BCP-008 interop

Open standards and multi-vendor interoperability: Sony and Nevion are committed to open industry standards that simplify integration and deployment. At IBC 2026, Sony and Nevion are participating in the EBU multi-vendor interoperability demonstration at stand 10.D21, showcasing AMWA BCP-008 status reporting between a Sony HDC-P50A camera and Nevion VideoIPath. The demo shows camera status information, including link and PTP status, being displayed and monitored in VideoIPath.

AWS – MXL interop

An MXL (Media eXchange Layer) multi-vendor interop will be hosted by AWS (booth 14.B30), featuring amongst others MOXELA and Sony’s M2L-X switcher.

Speaking opportunities

Cisco – Orchestrating media networks using Cisco IPFM and Nevion VideoIPath

Nevion Head of Product and Solutions Jan Helgesen will be on the Cisco booth (5.D80) to talk about how to orchestrate media using Cisco IPFM and Nevion VideoIPath.


Sustainability Initiatives

Power-down functionality: Nevion has introduced a “power-down when not in use” feature for Virtuoso and eMerge products, potentially reducing energy consumption by up to 80%
