The Flashlink DCM-G.652-80 is a fixed chromatic dispersion compensation module used for high speed signals, such as 10GbE, transported over 80km on ITU-G.652 type fiber.
The module offers a high level of compensation while maintaining an ultra low flat insertion loss as well as a low latency.
The DCM is a narrow bandwidth device, and will only work for DWDM systems.
The unit is a passive optical device that fits in the Modular Flashlink frames, as well as the single unit enclosure N-BOX.
